• Speaking at Google’s I/O conference on Wednesday, futurist Ray Kurzweil shared his prediction that, in ten years, we’ll all be able to download designs and then 3D-print our own open source clothes for just cents. (Kurzweil claims a 75 percent accuracy for his predictions about the future, FYI.) OK, but will they be bespoke?

• Another day, another fraud lawsuit against Barclay’s—this time for their secret, Skull-and-Bones-sounding “dark pool” trading operations.

• An update to last week’s bafflement about Chinese billionaire Chen Guangbiao who invited impoverished New Yorkers to a lavish lunch and cash giveaway at Central Park: Wednesday’s lunch did happen, but the eccentric tycoon’s attempts to give away cash were complicated in several ways.

Vox explain(er)s the concept of dating, and it is ridiculous. A sample “Q” from the post’s typical Q&A format: “What if guys stop paying for dates? Are they still dates?”
