• Ezra Klein declares, in a Vox article with the click-baitiest of headlines, that “The single most important fact about American politics” is that Democrats and Republicans [tell Pew pollsters that they] hate each other. Hm. We thought it was something like, dunno, institutionalized bribery and corruption, the revolving door between lawmaking and special-interest-making, or the ossification of class structures that block non-elites’ entry into the political process. But that’s why Vox is there to helpfully explain-er it to us.

• Speaking of which, oh hey did you hear that Chelsea Clinton’s salary at NBC News was $600,000 a year?

• Behold the “Starbucks College Achievement Plan.” Does this plan involve money? No. No, it does not.

• People, it’s only Monday! Don’t give up quite just yet. Here is a teenager who is quitting his job and turning his station wagon into a traveling bookstore and taking it across the country. The youngs are our future, you know.
