• The much touted (and well-funded) Start-Up New York Program created only 76 jobs last year, instead of the originally announced 2,300, according to news from the Cuomo administration.

• REVOLVE clothing is offering same-day delivery service for fashion-minded festival-goers at this year’s Coachella. Now you won’t have to worry about packing the wrong Free People jeans to match your aviators.

• Reno, Nevada is trying to diversify its economy, now largely built on the quickie divorce industry, by attracting the kind of vibrancy only brought by “artist-entrepreneurs.” We at The Baffler won’t hold our breath.
