Eric Dean Wilson is the author of After Cooling: On Freon, Global Warming, and the Terrible Cost of Comfort. His essays have appeared in Orion, Tin House, Time, Esquire, and elsewhere. He is an assistant professor of creative writing and American literature at Wagner College, Staten Island. A resident of Flatbush, Brooklyn, he is currently working on a book of essays on urban public green space and queer ecology.
