Chris Rose is the author of 1 Dead in Attic: After Katrina, and is a former reporter at the Times-Picayune, where he was a 2006 Pulitzer Prize finalist for Distinguished Commentary and was part of the newspaper’s team that won the 2006 Pulitzer for Public Service for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina.
