Ali Winston

Ali Winston is an independent reporter covering criminal justice, privacy, and extremism. He writes for the Guardian, Wired, and Rolling Stone among other publications and has reported documentaries for BBC Panorama and PBS Frontline. Ali is the coauthor of The Riders Come Out at Night: Corruption, Brutality and Cover-up in Oakland (with Darwin BondGraham), and is currently at work on a book about counterinsurgency and police militarization.
