Susan Bernofsky, Sharon Dodua Otoo, and Tyrell Otoo
Susan Bernofsky is a writer and the award-winning translator of works by Robert Walser, Yoko Tawada, Jenny Erpenbeck, Franz Kafka, Hermann Hesse, and many others. Her book, Clairvoyant of the Small: The Life of Robert Walser, was a finalist for the 2021 National Book Critics Circle Award for Biography. Her most recent translation is Paul Celan and the Trans-Tibetan Angel by Yoko Tawada. She runs the program in literary translation at Columbia University and is currently working on a new translation of Thomas Mann’s The Magic Mountain for W.W. Norton.
Tyrell Otoo is a British-German actor from Berlin. He has worked on numerous projects in film, television, radio plays and theatre. His latest project is the leading role in the ZDF feature film Für Immer Freibad (director: Laura Fischer).
