Suleiman Al-Bustani

Born in Mount Lebanon, Suleiman Al-Bustani was a poet, translator, historian, and politician. His spent much of his life traveling across many cities, including Cairo, New York, Istanbul, and Beirut. From 1887 to 1904, he worked on the first complete translation of The Iliad into Arabic.
