Barbara Ehrenreich

barbara-ehrenreich-lr-242x300Barbara Ehrenreich is a contributing editor of The Baffler. She is an investigative journalist, essayist, and activist, and is the author of twenty-one books, including Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America. Her latest book, a departure from her previous books, is a memoir entitled Living with a Wild God: A Nonbeliever’s Search for the Truth about Everything. With the Institute for Policy Studies, she launched an Economic Hardship Reporting Project in order to force this country’s crisis of poverty and economic insecurity to the center of the national conversation. She was born in a mining town in Montana and now lives in Virginia.
