• The last unicorn? Hardly likely in the startup world, where there are now more than 120 companies bearing the moniker for a firm valued (perhaps falsely) at over $1 billion. Since the field is getting crowded, the industry lingo has now expanded to include ponies, centaurs, and dragons.

The Economist takes on what it calls Donald Trump’s “deviant Republicanism,” praising the billionaire candidate for his refreshing honesty. Of course, they also think the Republican party elites are suffering from “an unusual surfeit of strong candidates,” so there’s clearly little that will burst their bubble of “refreshing” political opinion. For us, at least, it’s a reminder of Moe Tcacik’s salvo on the counterintuitive nonsense so often passed off as “iconoclastic” op-ed coverage.
